Exploring the Snæfellsnes Peninsula | Iceland
Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula is home to some of the country's most iconic scenery. The day before their elopement, James and Brandi hopped in a car and set out to explore the area. We started in Borgarnes and made our way to the Black Church of Budir and Snæfellsjökull National Park. As if the landscape wasn't already enough of a treat, at the end of the day, the Iceland skies decided to show off a fiery pink sunset. We made our way back to the Airbnb and as we were unloading the car, we were shocked to look up and see a green glow dancing around the black night sky—the northern lights.
