Imagine an intimate backyard wedding with lots of string lights and yard games or a large field with views as far as the eye can see and a relaxed bonfire that evening at the reception. You have a lot more freedom to create a personalized atmosphere if you are using private land, however, you will need to keep in mind logistical elements like bringing in food/drink and providing restrooms for guests.
